hi this is the contributors page bc i imagine some people are kind of nosy and/or confused when i mention people offhand or just archive friends' thoughts w/o really introducing them first lol. and also bc i figured it'd be kind of nice to have someplace that indexes everyone's appearances on the site, as ambitious as that may be for a site that is hand-coded lol.

hi, my online name is 白雪花. i code this site my hand! you can call me hua, but i went by xue here until i took my fics off-anon, so you'll see a lot of references to me as "xue" around the site. 
biggest fanfiction pet peeve:
when people write fics with a bunch of inoffensive background (usually wlw) ships that then get tagged in the relationships category and clog up my search results.

- why did i pick this font?
- my usual handwriting is this kind of scribbly cursive, so i wanted a script font to reflect that. however, i also wanted it to be legible, so dehasta momentos was basically the compromise.
- then, when i was annotating pure identity
, i realized i needed a matching cn font, so i picked tianshi xiaokai bc it's pretty && supports the traditional charset (笑).

- how did we meet?
- I was playing the Hadramaveth World Quest and got co-op requests from two people at the same time and was like “Ha, funny coincidence, I’ll let them both in” but it turns out it was Xue and Nat tag-teaming me.
- So we got to talking and it turns out I recognized Xue from my tumblr followers list, and they’d recognized me from the co-op menu because they’d read my fics (I forget this fact 99% of the time) and then I was so starved for fandom friends that I dm’ed them on tumblr a couple weeks later.
- I just live in a small world I guess, but it worked out this time!
- why did you pick this font?
- Shadows Into Light was my go-to font in middle and high school for when I got more font freedom in school projects, because it was one of the few Google fonts with a softer, mystical feel. Unlike Xue, I’m not a font nerd, so it’s the only one I really know off the top of my head, and so it’s the one I picked.

- we met on rizale's xvx server! i had previously read at least one of your fics before (definitely pure identity, but possibly also what queer sins stain thy soul and lullaby for a windswept dream). it was a bit scary at first because many people seemed to already know one another (which is always a scary scene to me) but people were nice
- at some point i started being more active in chatting and we had lots of fun discussions bcos you have many Good Takes and cool ideas~
- ALSO OBVIOUSLY Love is Better Left For the Birds, how could I forget... the one I referenced on the discord by bringing up how much i loved that ningguang wanted to monetize a xiaoven wedding without realizing it was written by you

- I love that it has a bit of that calligraphic vibes with the varying thickness ot the lines and the subtle little curls. There's also just the slightest bit of slant to it, like italics but not quite yet, and i do love italics :p
