favorite fics, essays, and other fannish things i've made

i have a habit of touching my wretched little fingers all over every creative medium that involves words in some way— writing, yes, of course, but also calligraphy, typesetting, translation, coding…

i don't really do zines, so i'm going to ignore some of the (very sound) advice my high school writing senpai, a prolific zine contributor, gave me for designing a good zine portfolio. besides, aside from fics, a lot of my fandom creations aren't the sort of thing zines seek to publish LOL, so you can probably consider this as something between a fandom résumé and portfolio.

i tend to write more emotionally weighty, character-focused pieces, but the genre which comes to me most naturally is actually comedy.

typesetting for scanlations is done in photoshop. releases take forever because i do everything myself (translation, redraws, typesetting, etc.) when i feel like it.

i'm also a little familiar with typesetting in aegisub for fansubbing, but i don't have anywhere to display that online lol.

fanmixes

the way i make my mixtapes is by picking songs from the collection of mp3 files on my computer, burning them to a physical CD, and then either keeping them for myself or mailing them out to friends with a handwritten note detailing the thought process behind each track.

suffice to say, i don't exactly have a strong digital record of my music curation activities lol. but, for the purposes of this portfolio, i've recreated two as youtube playlists.

aside from this website, i also code other things. mostly various userscripts, mostly for ao3. they should all also work on mobile, if you can get a script manager into your browser there (like on android firefox).

uses advanced query syntax to automatically apply saved filters when browsing an ao3 tag.

JS ~ chapter drop-downs [ao3] ~ [raw]

makes a drop-down with links to all the chapters for a work when looking at a works listing page.

JS ~ inbox chapters [ao3] ~ [raw]

shows you what chapter a comment was left on while in the ao3 comment inbox page.
