hi! you can call me xue, i guess. i'm the one writing the fics and essays, unless otherwise stated! i like fonts and typography!!!

star: oh those r random fonts lol ill just use the ones in the layout / xue: why would u say that 2 me specifically.

apparently, most of my website space is being used to host these fonts, and ~~every week my friends physically restrain me from dropping $500 on this set of eight fonts !!!!! :D (heliotrope is my favorite, and mark my worms, i WILL buy them eventually.)~~ i bought the fonts :)

the legibility of the "voice" fonts is still a work in progress.

site fonts

root font size: 16px ("1.0 rem").

this is the default font size everywhere unless otherwise stated.

main body font: Concourse (english); kiwi maru (中文/日本語).

concourse is one of the eight fonts i bought, and it has Real Small Caps :D

navbar font: kiwi maru (english & 中文/日本語)

tooltips also use this font, albeit at 85% size to match the body text size.

header 1 font: josefin slab (english); kiwi maru (中文/日本語).

default set to 2.25 rem (basically 225% larger than main font)

header 2 & 3 font: josefin slab (english); jinmei cu heiti (中文/日本語).

default set to 1.5 rem for h2 and 1.2 rem for h3.
these fonts also represent dates on essays and such.
fun fact, though!! the cn font is Probably the one they used to use on taiwanese road signs

fic title font: heliotrope (italicized)

its Small Caps version is also used in a fic's "Complete" label, as well as in the names of the sites on the WeebRing index.

code font: cordata ppc-400, 17px

contributor voices

hua voice: dehasta momentos (english); Tianshi Xiaokai (中文/日本語).

nat voice: friday october twelve, 80% size.

height modification is to make it match hua font voice height

star voice: spring is coming, 120% size and 0.045 em letter spacing

the letter spacing is to unsquish the letters a bit and (hypothetically) make it easier to read.

navi voice: shadows into light, 90% size.

blaze voice: Typist's Pseudonym.

luna voice: Snippet, 92.5% size.

callie voice: Merienda, 82.5% size.

hanabi voice: Vulf Mono, 87.5% size.
