• when venti returns to normal xiao enters some kind of crazy protective mode for a while
• he wouldn't let venti out of arms reach. v clingy
• venti adores the attention though
• he also probably starts hanging out with chlm too since he does not trust venti left alone with them AGAIN
• before xiao would avoid them bc Childe was there. being Deeply Unwell.
• i love how childe doesn't even seem to get a redemption arc he n lumine are just like an Item when they're off-duty
• they each get like their superpower signal watch beeps going at the same time when they're out n they're like

  /: oh it's time for our regularly scheduled duking it out in front of the whole city

• childe redemption arc is "doing evil things with Evil intent" to "doing evil things so lumine will stab him"
• he needs to be pinned down with a knife at his throat every three days or he will explode
• he and venti are the same except that venti just wants Cuddle and snuggles and kisses
• i think venti would want cuddles n kisses a Lot more frequently than every three days lol

• plus i think it'd be funny to imagine all the different ways dragon zhongli might be sleeping
• like a floppy noodle draped over his side, or a fucked up little hat curled atop his head
• or xiao sleeping all curled up n small bc that's what he's used to n then you have this fucking 1.5–2m noodle dragon thing splayed out n taking up most of the bed
• this would also explain how zhongli Knows every time venti tries to come into xiao's room to sleep with him
