i think the main reason i have so many gq essays that i can find quickly is bc i spent a lot of time in this server for a m/f ship i liked in an old fandom, but like. those people were really boring and Heterosexual™ abt it, but i kept lurking even as i changed fandoms, n watched as they got into genshin (and all got REALLY into jeanluc like it was a pipeline or some shit), n for a while, i just ignored their really basic taste, but then they started having just THE WORST takes on xiao and ganyu, so i started organizing my thoughts on why they were WRONG in my notes/in the dms to star, the friend who got me into genshin n had the ganqing brainrot, giving me better written records than my xiaoven brainrot, which stayed mostly in my head lol.
